*Tabarrok Ph.D., Alexander

    Alexander T. Tabarrok is Vice President and Research Director for The Independent Institute and Assistant Editor of The Independent Review.

    Dr. Tabarrock received his Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University and he has taught at the University of Virginia and Ball State University.

    He is the editor of the following Independent Institute books:

    • Entrepreneurial Economist (Oxford University Press)
    • The Voluntary City (with David Beito and Peter Gordon, University of Michigan Press)

    His papers have appeared in the Journal of Law and Economics, Public Choice, Economic Inquiry, Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Theoretical Politics, Review of Austrian Economics, Kyklos and many other journals.

    Dr. Tabarrok contributed to Legislative Term Limits, and Rethinking Insurance Regulation. In addition, he was an author of the monograph An Analysis of Proposals for Constitutional Change in New Zealand.

    Dr. Tabarrok is the recipient of the Snavely Award, and he has been an Earhart Foundation Fellow and George A. and Frances Ball Foundation Fellow. Articles by Dr. Tabarrok have appeared in magazines and newspapers across the United States.

*Taylor, George

    Mr. Taylor, a Certified Consulting Meteorologist, is the State Climatologist for Oregon and a faculty member at Oregon State University.

    George has been the past president (2 years) of the American Association of State Climatologists and has been active in weather/climate studies since 1971.

    He is also the scientific advisor for the Center for the

    His knowledge of climatology has made him a regular feature on local news broadcasts (TV and radio) and has appeared twice on Dan Rather's CBS Evening News discussing climate change.

    George is also interviewed frequently by various printed media and has written several op-ed pieces published in major national newspapers

*Taylor, Suzanne

    Suzanne was Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude from New York University.

    Suzanne is a producer, writer, and networker. She hosts dialogues, writes commentaries and has a WebRadio show, “Making Sense of These Times.” Currently she is producing a feature documentary on the crop circle phenomenon, with William Gazecki, Oscar nominated filmmaker (for "WACO: The Rules of Engagement).

    She is the founder of Mighty Companions -- "Dedicated to encouraging the awareness of ourselves as a One Life"

    Ms. Taylor authored The Anybody Can Make It, Everybody Will Love It Cookbook.

    Sherri Tenpenny is Director and Founder of OsteoMed II, a clinic for alternative, traditional and preventive medicine. She is certified in 2 medical specialties and has completed advanced courses in alternate medicine including acupuncture.
