THE FACTS ABOUT TODAY’S ENVIRONMENTAL MYTHS

The author, Dr. Jay Lehr, paints the background of environmental disasters and disasters in waiting prevalent in the late 60's and early 70's. He then discusses how the scientific community addressed those issues long before it became fashionable and laid the groundwork for remedial action through the legislative and other processes.

Dr. Lehr discloses how the work of these environmentally wise scientists was co-opted and corrupted by those claiming to be environmentalists, but who were in reality, radicals with hidden agendas. The author then effectively links the factually challenged media to these radicals and exposes the numerous myths and misconceptions they created in concert with the radicals.  

The resulting equation, consisting of fear, confusion, and hostility, all contributed to the furtherance of the radicals’ agenda as well as to the growth of an ever expanding regulatory bureaucracy.
